According to legend, one who drinks the blood of a dragon is to have powers unmatched by mortals.
In this update: The dragon hatches, and Kajika asks Donko to feed it because he can't kill bugs to feed the dragon. Meanwhile, Gibachi had a homing device on the egg's protector. Gibachi finds the dragon, shoots, and takes its blood. Upon drinking the blood, his body starts to change. The new Gibachi effectively beats up Kajika and Isaza. Haya arrives on the scene just in time. She returns the pill Kajika gave her to use on the dragon. Kajika feeds the dragon the pill, and he is freed from his curse. But there's something odd about Gibachi....

ONE PIECE
by Oda Eiichiro
Started in #34, 1997 (5 volumes available)

Overview: Ruffy is a boy cursed with a body that stretches like rubber. He becomes a pirate in search of the Grand Line, a sea route to the ultimate treasure known as One Piece.
In this update: Creek says he wants to take over Baratie not only for the ship, but for Zeff's log of sailing the Grand Line. Patty and Carne attack with a rowboat annex to Baratie, but Creek throws them back. Sanji commences to kick the collective butts of Creek's fleet. Pearl, leader of Creek's secondary fleet, comes on the scene. Creek cracks Ruffy's life-support mast, and as a result Pearl's head gets sandwiched between Sanji's foot and Ruffy's back, causing the shield-covered man to draw a nosebleed. Pearl lights the deck on fire as a means of protecting himself. Creek and Zeff move to protect the ship (each for their own want of the ship). Pearl is further injured when a pillar accidentally falls on top of him. Gin stops Sanji by taking Zeff hostage.
